Our Parasailing Adventure 05/21/2016

Another day of Fun and adventure in Boracay!!!!
When me and James went to Florida back in 2014, we really wanted to try their parasailing activity. But the thing is it is very expensive, that it will cost almost $200 for the two of us that includes the picture they took. So we stopped ourselves and decided to just do-it on our next trip in the Philippines. (that was the plan.)
Fast Forward 2016.....
While we were in the island, I coward myself and backed out with our plan. I feel so scared that made me sick just watching all those people flying up above. Then again, I realize that life is so short not to enjoy every moment spent with the love of my life. My husband is never scared of heights. He is the real Superman!
So off We Go....
We begin to Go a little Higher
We dip in the water before we Go back to Our boat. That was FUN!!!!
It was so peaceful and calm up above. Took a photo of our foot (ala lang)
Our ride lasted for 15 minutes and we went 280 feet above the ground. The feeling of being on top of the world like a bird flying up in the sky is such a wonderful experience. I will definitely do-it again in the future.

This is how it looks like every evening in Boracay while we were there. Water is a little lower than normal
Daily view in the island while strolling around. Sand is real pretty!
Sometimes it looks like this when the tide starts to Go up. :)

So to anyone that wanted to try parasailing. Go ahead do it. The feeling of fear is just at the beginning but when you see the world in a panoramic view, it is something definitely something else and an experience you will never forget!

Fishing..

Hey guys I'm back again! It has been a little while and I kinda miss it here. LOL! anyways The husband and I together with our little grandson went on a fishing trip this time. We promised the boy to go fishing so even the wind is blowing 35MPH it did not stop us from going.

It was a fun experience for the three of us, because the husband can maneuver the boat real good. He can make it as fast as you want it to-be or maybe as slow as it gets. The wind drove us crazy and we didn't get any fish at all. So we decided to call it a day. We let him fish at the pier for an hour or so before we decided to go home. The little boy was grateful and told us he had fun. It sure made a smile at papaw's and honey's face. :)

View from our boat. water looks real rough, but the view is beautiful.
Strike a pose before we hit the road.

Toledo Bend-Texas side

Hubby and I went on an unexpected road trip last Sunday. It was not our intention to hit the road  but because we were bored and hungry we ended up going to a restaurant at the boarder of Louisiana and Texas. True! We love food and we go out of our way just to find something different.

We cross Toledo bend bridge And oh boy! that bridge was long and beautiful. Not to mention the water is a little higher than normal (I was eve-dropping while the husband and friend were talking).

Here's some of the Photos from that short trip.

Of course! The husband and I...
And me . Me!

Louisiana State Fair2015

The husband took me to Louisiana's State fair 2 weeks ago. The crowd was overwhelming. I never though Louisiana has that number of people. LOL! It was the first time I saw wave of people in this side of the world. We stayed there until 8 in the evening. We Ate funnel cake, corn dog, chicken in a stick, cheesy fries and drink coke. lol

I had so much fun and my feet almost retire. It hurts so bad from walking in one corner to the other. But the most important thing is hubby and I get to enjoy each others company and experienced to be a kid again.

Cedar Falls Arkans.

We had the opportunity to visit the Cedar waterfalls in Arkansas.  We wanted to walk 2 miles down to be closer to the falls but I freaked out because of the chicken snake curled up on a tree.

The falls was so beautiful watching from afar. how much more if only we're a little closer. There were a lot of people swimming in the water. It sure looks so much fun to be there.

I wanted to go back again when the trees starts to change it's color. I love Autumn because I feel like I get to step to places that I only see in the movies. And Arkansas is the best and closest place we could visit for now.

Six Flags Over Texas Adventure....

We celebrate my Birthday and 2015's Father's day in Texas. Hubby and I, together with our little grandson drove 4 hours From Shreveport Louisiana to Arlington Texas. It is one of the most visited City. It is located east of forth-worth and probably 20 miles west of Dallas.

Hubby enjoyed the place as much as his little grandson and me did. He said it brings back memories of his childhood. We hop-in so many water slides, and ended up soaking wet every-time. The power of Mr. Sun didn't torture us though. Clouds cover the sky and the  breeze every once in a while helps alleviate the little humid temperature of that day. Plus, there's a lot of electric fan all over the place and that makes it more-comfortable in strolling around the park.

We did not ride the gigantic rides, the scary and extreme ones. We prefer the more child rides because of the little man. He is so scared to experience extremes, and whines a little about it. LOL! But the good news is.. Me and Hubby will do it again next time, and by then we hope to experience those extreme roller coaster rides. Texas giants, Superman and so many others. I hope I will not get heart attack when it happens. hahha!

Here's some of the photos I took. No pictures for me. I'd rather wanna be at the back of my lens this time.  Probably I grow old from taking pictures of myself already. :D

HAPPY GRANDFATHER'S DAY TO THE MOST RESPONSIBLE AND THE SWEETIES PERSON I'VE EVER MEET. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH  HUSBAND. AND I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL OF THE LOVE YOU SHARED NOT JUST ON ME BUT TO THE WHOLE FAMILY. YOUR AWESOME!!!

Breakfast Food...

I love weekends simply because it is the day of the week where I get to spend quality time with my husband. We mostly start our day by eating breakfast together. Though I am starving to death because hubby usually wake-up late on this day, I still don't mind waiting for him.

Growing up, my family usually ate breakfast and dinner together. And My husband's family are close tight kind of family too, they also practice the same manner in the table like ours does. But the difference is, they don't talk very much while eating. They concentrate on their food and chat later. Filipinos on the other hand love to talk and laugh while eating. It's more fun that way I believe.

Another differences of me and the husband. He don't eat rice for breakfast. He likes grits, toast, bacon, sausage, biscuit, or oatmeal. While me I prefer fried rice, egg, bacon, anything heavy will do .Adobo.Chicken.Pork Beef. Buwad :) sardines. bsta anything name it! hahaa!

hubby's breakfast food (grits, toast, egg, bacon)

Honey's breaky ( bacon, rice, egg) pang kargador n riec

Even thought we have so many differences be it with our culture, traditions, mannerism, age or anything you can imagine, at the end of the day we have the same value of love and respect with one another and that is far more important than anything.

Stay Blessed Y'all!

Sunday Fun day...

Sunday. Hubby and I went to O'pines lake in Texas to enjoy a little outdoor activities. As planned we went a little fishing and some skiing with his colleague. Hubby drove the ski boat while his friend is dragged in the water. That was a total fun and exciting moment for me. As if I am the one who is skiing in the lake. lol!

The lake has it's pristine beauty and knowing that it was ours for that certain moment is such a wonderful experience. The water is still cool at 60 degrees F and for that reason, crowd don't exist yet. Hubby and I planned to do a little more fishing probably in the first of May. By then, we gotta make sure to stay there 2-3 days at least. We did it last year and I look forward to-do it again this year (just me and him).

Our plan this time is not just fishing. We also plan to explore that little town and maybe visit my friend who lived nearby. I hope the weather will be beautiful again when it's time for us to-go. Fingers crossed. this gonna be another memorable trip for me and the husband.

Snow in February

Hubby and I enjoyed ourself outside while the snow is pouring hard. It is very rare that we get snow in this side of the world. But nevertheless I am very grateful of what we had.

It was pretty cold that time, but being the tropical girl in me I still manage to wear shorts. hehe! We had a blast! as obviously seen in the photos. Time spent with my husband is the most rewarding blessings of my lifetime. I love him more as time passes by... :)

Christmas 2014

I have so many stories to tell but my Internet connection won't allow me to do-so. I do't understand why Internet here is just ridiculously expensive. Our connection is very much limited that is why I can't update my blog regularly.

But anyhow, we celebrated Christmas in the most simplest way. Me and James just went to the in-laws, had our exchange gift and a little get together. headed straight home after. It was not like in the Philippines were it's noisy.fun. party with neighbors and fireworks. We have Different concept here but with the same intentions and meaning "Family and Friends", "Love and Joy".

And... After all Christmas is not about us, it's about the birth of Jesus Christ our mighty savior!  And before I will end this post. Let me paste one of my favorite quote.
"It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags!... Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more!" ~Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

So Yes! We been hunting almost every weekend and on holidays. No I',m not feed up! I am enjoying going in and and out the woods. I am not scared either. The husband allow me to experience so many things. I never thought I'd be a great country girl. Oh by the way. a soft hearted one. I can't shoot a deer. I saw them one time and is so ready to pull the trigger but my tears just keep rolling on my checks. lol! So I decided to just enjoy myself spying them in my scope. The husband just smile at me.

Thanksgiving tale.

The husband and I have been so busy last week(nothing's new). It was his long weekend as he decided to take some of his left vacation after Thanksgiving. We go from here and there. We visit families and go shopping with mom and daddy. We went hunting as usual and don't get a chance to get any as deer never did move on hunting time. It was kind of frustrating, but I am hopeful for the husband to be able to shot that 8 point deer, the one we saw on our game camera. Fingers crossed!

Anyhow, yes!that's how our weekend goes. It was one tiring but very fun times for me and J. The most important thing is we get a chance to spent time together which will be posted on my next entry.

One year now... Forever to Go..

Live more, Complain less. More smiles, less stress. Less hate, more blessed

One year ago me and J promised to God and in front of our families and friends that we will love each other FOREVER. On that certain day we decided to be with each other through the test of time. . J helped me in so many things about life and built my confidence on a daily basis.

On our first few months of being together, it was a little challenge in the kitchen for me. I don't have a good skills with the skillet, stove and oven. I don't even know how to make a hard boiled egg. I remember my first hard boiled egg is an epic fail. It was very soft inside and a little hard outside. J said he did ate it,but I know now for a fact that he didn't. LOL!

As time progressed I learned a little tricks in cooking. Yes! I graduated hotel restaurant management and I should know better in the kitchen area, but I guess my education is not enough. although it helped in some ways but hands on experience is better than reading books and passing the quiz.lately, I am able to utilize our kitchen do experiments and do more practice that leads me to being passionate in cooking. I love cooking now, and our kitchen is one of my favorite place in our home.

On our first year, me and J did quite a few road tripping. We were able to visit three (3) states Texas, Arkansas, and Florida. We had our honeymoon in Arkansas and that's when I fall in-love the place. I think it's my favorite state so far aside from our home state Louisiana. From the colors of the trees on fall season to the people that we met along our travel is magnificent. Then Florida where mickey mouse live. I love that busy city. It was J's gift for me on my birthday. I remember when I was there, it seemed like the City did not sleep. the time passed by so quickly. Our three (3) days exploring Disneyland and Universal Studio weren't enough. But J promised, He will take me back there sometimes in the coming years. Then Florida's beach is a must place to visit too. It's beautiful and incomparable. Philippines has beautiful beaches too and in my conclusion nature has it's own elegance, that is why I will not compare our beach to theirs. Both are exquisite! Then we also were able to see the City of Dallas (Texas). Dallas reminded me of Manila and Cebu. The overpass, the traffic and the view is somewhat similar to where I originally came from. It's one charming city.

In a span of one year (1) me and J have already come along ways. We were able to manage our marriage so alluringly. Although a little kiddy fights sometimes specially on my-menstrual cycle. But other than that, we never had any BIG issues at all. We also learn a little about each other day by day. I love waking up with my husband everyday. It sure is the most wonderful blessing by my Father in Heaven. Thank God!!!

I believe J and I are in the right track towards our goal to forever. All we have to-do is to keep the momentum going. Marriage do basically depends on how you treat your partner. As of me and J, We have so much hope for the future. We plan on traveling the world together. Seeing the world in our vision, experiencing life's journey holding hands. I never had any doubt that our marriage will last longer than forever. Our love for each other is more than enough proof that we can make it, even through the test of time.

I love you so much husband. I promise to always love and  complete your day as you completed mine. Happy One Year to US!! Cheers to our Journey to a life time...

Florida Adventure Part1

I created this post 2 days ago but for some reason my computer freezes and every words I utter was being deleted. Of course I was pissed so I decided to log off and redo maybe later which is today. LOL!

Anyhow to make the story short. Me the husband his Daughter C and Grandson T hit the road last June 20 for our road trip to Disney, Universal Studio and the the beach (Destine).
It was one fun and memorable week for all of us. Disney world did not impress me very much thought. It's not like what you see in TV where all the Princesses and Mickey mouse just walk around and you can snap a photo with them. The fireworks and the show before the night ends is the one that is memorable.  Here's some of the photos I took during the trip
Side view of Cinderellas fancy castle.
Jurassic Park ride where my jaw drop coz I'm a Chicken.. LOl!

We stayed here for 4 nights&5days.
Tuff in front of the famous castle in Disney world
The best water ride ever @ Universal Studi
Ride with Harry Potter.

Memorial Day 2014

First I wanna Thank all the brave soldiers in this side of the world for allowing us to enjoy the freedom of today. If not with them life might be so hard still.

My first memorial day holiday experience is full of fun and adventure. Me and James along with our Friend Mags and her husband decided to go camping in a lake nearby. We stayed there for 4 Days and 3 nights.  It was my first camping experience and I had a blast.

We have daily routine. Every morning me and Mags will cook breakfast and after that James will drive the boat and all of us will go fishing. We will stay there until 2 p.m come home and rest a little. And before the darkness strikes our boys will grab logs and pieces of woods to make fire. Then they also cook dinner for us.

I would say it was one of the best experience I had in my life. I am so happy I married an adventurous, and understanding loving man.

This was taken on our 3rd Day. My color changed already for I stayed in the sun for almost all day everyday. If not fishing in the middle of the lake We also fish in the bunk. Also the flaws and all in the legs are mosquito bites. Kailangan tlaga mag explain?? hahah!

My friend Mags and her husband Choddy.

Texas Short Trip...

Last week me and James decided to hit the road for a short trip to Dallas. He's been working so hard last month because of the storm so I told him he needed some break. He ask for a 2 days off from work which is Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is a holiday anyway and Saturday Sunday is his regular day off, So we had a very long weekend. Yay! to me.

Our Itinerary starts in Dallas World Museum.

The museum is very neat. It feels like your in the the jungle that is located in the middle of the City. The first part of the museum is a miniature water falls where you can see different kinds of monkey, birds, peacock, lizard and many more animals.

After world museum we go straight ahead to Ripley s Believe it or Not and Wax Museum.

Selfie! Selfie! with my labs.

After Our Wax museum visit, we hit the road again this time just to see what the City of Dallas looks like. We traveled around for a couple of hours before we decided to go back home. It was really a short trip, but Indeed a wonderful one.

My husband is very consistent in making me happy and I love every minute spending time with the most amazing man in my life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

YESTERDAY was my birthday. According to my husband my birthday is a 1 week of a celebration. he is just making a joke and is very funny.  W...
