Happy 1st year to me...

One year ago, I fly with the big bird to come here in the United States. Leaving my family and the life that I am used too is not quite easy. It takes a lot of courage to do it. I came here because of my dream, to marry the love of my life and to stay committed to the person that loves me beyond exception.

One year ago, I don't know what United States looks like. Yes! I saw it on TV, but never seen it with my own vision. I never know how it feels like to live or even to have a short vacation in this side of the world. Yes. one year ago United States is just a part of my dream.

And today marks that same day when I stepped my foot here in American soil. I know how it feels like to be here now obviously. Life where I'm at, is just like my life back home. Around here are simple people and I am loving it. Our place is so peaceful. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city life that I'm used too. I am closer to nature this time, and I'm enjoying every bits of it.

1.)I learned that Hey! is not a disrespectful word.
2.) Also calling your mom/dad in-law by their names are just normal (but still I can't do it!) I call them mom and daddy.
3.) huh? is a word to disrespect your elders.

Some culture here shocks me too, but I will never complain because we have some in the Philippines that will surely blow them away also. te. hee!

To sum it all, I feel so blessed to be in this side of the world. My family and friends here is an addition to the family I have in the Philippines. I will never forget where I came from, but I'm also loving my adopted home land.

One year ago I dream, and today I am living on that dream. I have so many first time, but will talk about it on my next post.

Florida Adventure Part1

I created this post 2 days ago but for some reason my computer freezes and every words I utter was being deleted. Of course I was pissed so I decided to log off and redo maybe later which is today. LOL!

Anyhow to make the story short. Me the husband his Daughter C and Grandson T hit the road last June 20 for our road trip to Disney, Universal Studio and the the beach (Destine).
It was one fun and memorable week for all of us. Disney world did not impress me very much thought. It's not like what you see in TV where all the Princesses and Mickey mouse just walk around and you can snap a photo with them. The fireworks and the show before the night ends is the one that is memorable.  Here's some of the photos I took during the trip
Side view of Cinderellas fancy castle.
Jurassic Park ride where my jaw drop coz I'm a Chicken.. LOl!

We stayed here for 4 nights&5days.
Tuff in front of the famous castle in Disney world
The best water ride ever @ Universal Studi
Ride with Harry Potter.

Memorial Day 2014

First I wanna Thank all the brave soldiers in this side of the world for allowing us to enjoy the freedom of today. If not with them life might be so hard still.

My first memorial day holiday experience is full of fun and adventure. Me and James along with our Friend Mags and her husband decided to go camping in a lake nearby. We stayed there for 4 Days and 3 nights.  It was my first camping experience and I had a blast.

We have daily routine. Every morning me and Mags will cook breakfast and after that James will drive the boat and all of us will go fishing. We will stay there until 2 p.m come home and rest a little. And before the darkness strikes our boys will grab logs and pieces of woods to make fire. Then they also cook dinner for us.

I would say it was one of the best experience I had in my life. I am so happy I married an adventurous, and understanding loving man.

This was taken on our 3rd Day. My color changed already for I stayed in the sun for almost all day everyday. If not fishing in the middle of the lake We also fish in the bunk. Also the flaws and all in the legs are mosquito bites. Kailangan tlaga mag explain?? hahah!

My friend Mags and her husband Choddy.
