Just daily....

Finally it happened. The husband drove me to my Dermatologist appointment today. Hubby has been telling me few weeks back to set up a Dr.'s appointment as he is worried about my pimples. They get worst as time passed by he said. But the stubborn wife in me just sit back, waited until finally I got scared of looking myself in the mirror. Then I panicked and picked up my phone to set an emergency appointment. haha! There's no such thing really. I am just lucky as they have available spot on that day.

And on the lighter note. I bake cookies today and just like that I burnt it.. LOL!!!!

All about my Lilly...

My friends frequently ask me of when will be the right time for me to get pregnant? My answer never changed since the beginning of time. I can't get angry at them for asking questions like that. They might just be wondering or perhaps a little nosy. who knows? LOL! But as you may already knew, Lilly is like a real daughter to me. She's very precious and I spoil her a lot. In-fact I bought her some treats and toys online just the other day. This store is selling EntirelyPets stuff. My Lilly enjoyed her toys a lot and that helps her occupied whenever me and hubby is not home. I love spoiling my dog, though she don't deserve it sometimes. She has a lot of adrenalin in her system, that is too much to handle. Oh well. She gives us joy on a daily basis that money cannot buy.

Breakfast Food...

I love weekends simply because it is the day of the week where I get to spend quality time with my husband. We mostly start our day by eating breakfast together. Though I am starving to death because hubby usually wake-up late on this day, I still don't mind waiting for him.

Growing up, my family usually ate breakfast and dinner together. And My husband's family are close tight kind of family too, they also practice the same manner in the table like ours does. But the difference is, they don't talk very much while eating. They concentrate on their food and chat later. Filipinos on the other hand love to talk and laugh while eating. It's more fun that way I believe.

Another differences of me and the husband. He don't eat rice for breakfast. He likes grits, toast, bacon, sausage, biscuit, or oatmeal. While me I prefer fried rice, egg, bacon, anything heavy will do .Adobo.Chicken.Pork Beef. Buwad :) sardines. bsta anything name it! hahaa!

Honey's breaky ( bacon, rice, egg) pang kargador n riec

Even thought we have so many differences be it with our culture, traditions, mannerism, age or anything you can imagine, at the end of the day we have the same value of love and respect with one another and that is far more important than anything.

Stay Blessed Y'all!

Why I Travel...

I am very passionate into seeing the world through my eyes and experiencing different cultures as well as tasting different kind of foods. I love traveling and thinking about it makes me wants to squeal like a butchered pig.

When I was in the Philippines I used to wander around even just for a day or two. I like walking on the beach or doing some little activities around the city. Back then, I don't have a descent camera to capture those little things that some of us failed to appreciate. I love history and listening stories of an old master piece always makes my day.

I appreciate more boldly of the stories so to speak. compared to the physical attributes of a certain person or thing in general. When traveling I also love talking to the locals. My mom, used to remind me of being careful specially when I am not in my comfort zone. So far, the people I met along the way are mostly the good ones. I am thankful that bad guys are obscure when they see me. They try to camouflage themselves I guess. LOL!

Why do I write this post? Solely because I missed wander-lusting. I am so itching to travel around with my husband. Oh well, few more weeks and we will go start packing our stuff again for our 3 days trip to Texas. I can't hardly wait..tehheee!

The Voice

Lately hubby and I were so hooked in watching The voice. We've been following this series for the past 3 seasons. This is one of the activity at home that we are doing so pleasantly. Last season finale, our bet won the tittle and we are so happy about it. Since I watch the show regularly, this just makes me wonder if they are using voice over booth because the contestants voices are insanely perfect. Not to boast, we are using surround system in the house and it adds perfection to those beautiful voices as they were singing their hearts out.

Easter Celebration 2015

The husband and his family traditionally celebrates Easter Family get together. But since the weather channel predicted a bad weather Sunday (Easter) we just decided to-do it a day ahead. Saturday was a perfect weather for the kids egg hunting and picture taking. It is my second year here so, obviously I had it experienced before. However, I still had fun looking for the eggs hidden everywhere. ( It feels good to-be a kid again even just for a day)

  Some of the photos ....

Mother Deary is happy taking pictures with everyone.

Food Corner

Hubby and I loves to eat a lot. Every time we travel, we make sure to try some of the foods that are popular in that certain place. Of-course! I am more adventurous than the husband in terms of food. His stomach is not too- strong enough to eat some of the weird looking kind. LOL!

So because we love to eat, I also try to take time and notice on the foods that is served in our table. I make sure to remember the taste that way I can clone some of it and make my own version.

Anyhow, here's one of those kind that we once ate on one of our trip.

My version of Buttered shrimp with Baked potato with jalapeno and cheese.

Shrimp cooked in Butter
Hubby's Plate

Hubby enjoyed it as much as I did. I am Thankful for my husband for he appreciates my cooking and adopted my culture with respect like his own.
