Christmas Shopping

We've been doing a little Christmas shopping since the start of the this month. It's so hard to find gifts for our everyone. It seemed like they have everything they needed and some of their wants. I know Christmas is not about the material things we can offer, but still Christmas shopping stressed me out.

I am actively looking for some Gifts for Drummers ideas as our little man loves playing drums in the church.I'm pretty sure he will enjoy it. He's in the perfect age also to start learning new things, and playing musical instrument is a good thing. I will ask the husband about it and finalize my decision before the day ends. Hopefully the little man will appreciate this gift one day.

Hunting buddy

So Yes! We been hunting almost every weekend and on holidays. No I',m not feed up! I am enjoying going in and and out the woods. I am not scared either. The husband allow me to experience so many things. I never thought I'd be a great country girl. Oh by the way. a soft hearted one. I can't shoot a deer. I saw them one time and is so ready to pull the trigger but my tears just keep rolling on my checks. lol! So I decided to just enjoy myself spying them in my scope. The husband just smile at me.

Thanksgiving tale.

The husband and I have been so busy last week(nothing's new). It was his long weekend as he decided to take some of his left vacation after Thanksgiving. We go from here and there. We visit families and go shopping with mom and daddy. We went hunting as usual and don't get a chance to get any as deer never did move on hunting time. It was kind of frustrating, but I am hopeful for the husband to be able to shot that 8 point deer, the one we saw on our game camera. Fingers crossed!

Anyhow, yes!that's how our weekend goes. It was one tiring but very fun times for me and J. The most important thing is we get a chance to spent time together which will be posted on my next entry.

NEw baby...

Monday I grin from ear to ear for the husband bought me a new baby. I talked to him last 2 weeks ago that I want to buy a DSLR camera. He's only respond? "will see". LOL! Since then, he never say anything, so I thought well, maybe I will get it by Christmas.

On our anniversary we really didn't get a chance to go out and celebrate. He's been very busy at work which I understand, for we knew it already ahead of time. I cooked steak and stir fry veges for our dinner and we opened our cake that was saved from last year. Still to me it was special.

The next day, He got out work early and so we headed to downtown just to eat and do a little grocery shopping. Then hubby take me to best buy. As soon as he pulled up at the parking lot, I knew he will get me something. And I have a feeling I will get my camera.

I didn't waste any minute. I grab the one's that I like the most. All He said is "babe, I want you to be happy, because it makes me happier too". and by the way Your so spoiled. He added.I felt his love through his eyes. I knew he genuinely buy me something, even though it's a little pricey.

I love my husband not because of the material things that he can offer, but because of him being pure as a person and as a partner. I love him a lot, and no words can describe how much. .

But anyway, here's a sample photo that I took using my new toy. . And oh by the way, my dog Lilly is now officially my model.

One year now... Forever to Go..

Live more, Complain less. More smiles, less stress. Less hate, more blessed

One year ago me and J promised to God and in front of our families and friends that we will love each other FOREVER. On that certain day we decided to be with each other through the test of time. . J helped me in so many things about life and built my confidence on a daily basis.

On our first few months of being together, it was a little challenge in the kitchen for me. I don't have a good skills with the skillet, stove and oven. I don't even know how to make a hard boiled egg. I remember my first hard boiled egg is an epic fail. It was very soft inside and a little hard outside. J said he did ate it,but I know now for a fact that he didn't. LOL!

As time progressed I learned a little tricks in cooking. Yes! I graduated hotel restaurant management and I should know better in the kitchen area, but I guess my education is not enough. although it helped in some ways but hands on experience is better than reading books and passing the quiz.lately, I am able to utilize our kitchen do experiments and do more practice that leads me to being passionate in cooking. I love cooking now, and our kitchen is one of my favorite place in our home.

On our first year, me and J did quite a few road tripping. We were able to visit three (3) states Texas, Arkansas, and Florida. We had our honeymoon in Arkansas and that's when I fall in-love the place. I think it's my favorite state so far aside from our home state Louisiana. From the colors of the trees on fall season to the people that we met along our travel is magnificent. Then Florida where mickey mouse live. I love that busy city. It was J's gift for me on my birthday. I remember when I was there, it seemed like the City did not sleep. the time passed by so quickly. Our three (3) days exploring Disneyland and Universal Studio weren't enough. But J promised, He will take me back there sometimes in the coming years. Then Florida's beach is a must place to visit too. It's beautiful and incomparable. Philippines has beautiful beaches too and in my conclusion nature has it's own elegance, that is why I will not compare our beach to theirs. Both are exquisite! Then we also were able to see the City of Dallas (Texas). Dallas reminded me of Manila and Cebu. The overpass, the traffic and the view is somewhat similar to where I originally came from. It's one charming city.

In a span of one year (1) me and J have already come along ways. We were able to manage our marriage so alluringly. Although a little kiddy fights sometimes specially on my-menstrual cycle. But other than that, we never had any BIG issues at all. We also learn a little about each other day by day. I love waking up with my husband everyday. It sure is the most wonderful blessing by my Father in Heaven. Thank God!!!

I believe J and I are in the right track towards our goal to forever. All we have to-do is to keep the momentum going. Marriage do basically depends on how you treat your partner. As of me and J, We have so much hope for the future. We plan on traveling the world together. Seeing the world in our vision, experiencing life's journey holding hands. I never had any doubt that our marriage will last longer than forever. Our love for each other is more than enough proof that we can make it, even through the test of time.

I love you so much husband. I promise to always love and  complete your day as you completed mine. Happy One Year to US!! Cheers to our Journey to a life time...

Guitar Adventures

I found a program in amazon on how to play a guitar. This program is highly recommended for kids since it is very easy to follow. I am actually practicing on the song Amazing grace and in just one day I am able to play it knowing I only have a very little knowledge about playing guitar. Although I haven't perfected it yet but I know I will get there.

I am so thankful for this guitar adventure program that I got for free in amazon. I am having fun while learning at the same time.

Therapeutic.My Stress reliever

Last week I got so bored that I feel like I burst out into tears any moment. I even got the husband worried because as soon, as He entered the door my tears just keep rolling. LOL! He asked why and I told him I got bored. He gave me a hug me and we decided to go out and eat. Yeah! the story of my life in this side of the world.

So then, instead of being bored, cry and just blow off money to eat out almost daily. I decided to be productive. I worked outside the house. Cutting limbs, raking dried leaves and just do anything that keeps me occupied. I have successfully been able to divert my attention. The weather is very cooperative too. It's so beautiful. the wind is blowing into my face and Mr. Sun shines a little. It's never humid so I feel good.

Here's a photo of my hard work outside. It's still a work in progress. Maybe it will take a week or two before I will completely finish this project. But for now this photo makes me happy. My sweat has been paid off because hubby is so proud of me. :)

Target Practise..

The husband bought me a 223 caliber gun before the Deer season starts. My gun has just been in the safe cabinet ever since. Me and J has been very busy and to squeeze in a few minutes of our time for a target practice isn't possible at all.

Finally yesterday (11-02-14) we were able to do-it. First the husband adjusted the scope for me and put a bullet in it.( mind you, I am still scared loading my own gun). Then the husband hand me the gun, and I begin to concentrate. My first shot is not a waste at all. I actually hit the target paper but way too far from the middle. Then goes my next shot and my last shot. The husband is so proud of me. Knowing that I never had a gun back in the Philippine. Here's what it looks like in that piece of paper after I'm done shooting.

The real paper has been mashed since we also use the 22 caliber to target practice. I had a great time yesterday. I just wish to-do it more often but knowing J schedule..hm-mm I doubt it.

Life Stop and Everything Freeze.

The husband and I attended a funeral of our sister in law's daddy last weekend. While listening to the family talking about that person's life , I made so many realizations too about life and the way I spent it.

Death. It is something we can never figure out of when it will strike. When a person died, it also means that all his daily activities are gone. Of course! it's an obvious reasons. During the funeral, I noticed that everybody stop and freeze for a moment. It's like the clock stops tickling too.

Being around in this crazy, yet beautiful world for 32 years is something I am definitely thankful to my creator. It is a privilege for me to live a very normal life. Bruises when I was a kid while we play, fun and happy memories with my neighbors and friends along the road. Heartaches and eventually fall in love again.

Life is like a cycle or a pattern in one. You are looking forward to grow old, and yet wanting to look back and be youthful and vibrant again. Living my life to the fullest is an understatement. I have lived and survived every passing day despite all the trials that comes my way. My faith is strong and that's one of the reason I survived. But life is full of surprises..We never know when it will hit us again for us to learn things the hard way. It never is perfect, and nobody lived their life so perfectly just saying.

It's a privilege for me, because I am able to appreciate more on the loveliness than the roughness of the world. I am able to enjoy every bits and pieces of my life, than isolate my world in complaining on the things I don't have and will never get. To smell the flowers out in our yard is just a little thing, but when you open your eyes widely and look it in a deeper perspective, It is something that is big for others and I consider it a blessing myself too.

Right at this stage of my life. I have nothing to complaint about. Well, I never consider myself a gripe person at all. I just wanna be happy and Enjoy my life with the person I love the most. Because we, really never know when our time is over. And perhaps when it happens, well I am confident enough to say that at-least I get to enjoy the ride so very much~!!

Refurnishing Our Home

A friend of mine just recently moved to a new house. They just finished unpacking all their belongings. Yesterday when I talked to her she told me she is actively looking for new furniture's. She considered buying it online and found the one she loves mostly at  goods home furnishingscentury. I for one also consider buying furniture's online. Our dent is not done as of the moment. We still need to-do a little work like changing the floor from carpet to wood. After the work I will be very excited to decorate our dent. For sure I will start buying a good looking couch and then matched it with a nice wall decorations. Finger's crossed. It will happen very soon.

Happy Birthday Lilly

Our baby girl is a year old last Oct. 16 2014. We have been literally busy running errands in the past couple of days that is why I forgot to write a birthday post for my Fur baby.

I got Lilly last December as the husbands Christms present. Since the day of her arrival, the house becomes wild and noisy. LOL! Sometimes it honestly annoys me. ahaha! But when my girl is quiet I also makes her do things which lead to  being rowdy again.

My Lilly is very protective. When me and the husband play around the house like he will slap me or choke me, Lilly will run towards him and starts growling and attacking him. She never wants nobody to hurt her mommy. But when I kicked the husband Lilly will also attack me. LOL! She's very funny.

I am proud being a fur mommy. Even though she's not a real child, still. she is my baby and means the world to me.

Chilly Weather

The temperature outside is constantly dropping. I'm sure it will be getting cooler in the coming days. I can't stand the cold weather, but I like the color of the surroundings though. In fact, this is my favorite time of the year as mentioned in my older post.

My dog Lilly is enjoying this chilly temperature during the day. She begs like human just to stay outside and play. But I don't let her stay out longer because of the alligator that wanders around the yard. Although I have only seen him once, but who knows he might just be lurking outside waiting for his prey to arrive.

music stand

While cleaning in our spare bedroom, I stumble upon the husbands old music instruments. He has a couple of them that he didn't use no more. I learned that he loves music back when he was in his 30's. He used to play drum and guitar along with his friends. In fact he has tons of photos and videos playing and singing with friends. I'm sure he's a good entertainer.

I've also noticed that old music stand are more heavier than the latest model. I have seen a more lighter stand one time when we stroll around the mall. I guess musicians are happier with all the technologies we have in the present. Unlike before that for sure it is very hard for them to move their instruments from one place to the other. Now, most instruments are more lighter compared to the old stuff.

Fall season

I love fall season. It's the time of the year when leaves changed it's color. Although we need to do- a lot of work cleaning but, that's fine with me. I can manage that. It's my favorite season out of four. Especially in the mountain side.

Last year me and the husband went to Arkansas for our honeymoon. That's when I first fall in love the place. and to this date we plan of going back there again. I wish by then I have a good camera. I so wanted to take a beautiful picture of me and the husband. A photo with a good resolution. The husband is very shy in front of the camera. I think he find it annoying .LOL!

Every time we go out somewhere. One picture is enough for him. But, he can't stop me if I take so many photos of us. He will just shake he's head and laugh. He always tease me, about photos but nada. ahh ahhh! no no! He can never stop me. That's for sure. HE didn't try anyway.

I reckon 5, 10, 15 years down the road, the husband will be used to it. Who knows, by then he will be a selfie addict himself? ha. ha. that will be hilarious.

Hunting season

It's time for hunting season again. Me and the husband are so busy preparing for that day of excitement. For the past 3 weeks, we've been so busy cutting limbs and clearing the path way going to the husbands deer stand. Last week we had it finished and to me it was an achievement.

Our next project is putting his deer stand all together. When I say all together that means put walls and roof in it then we are all ready. The husband is feeling under the weather lately. I guess it's the time of the month for allergies to attack. I hope he will feel better everyday. Also the weather in the coming week is not very cooperative, which means it's possible that we won't be able to finish our project on deer season's first day. Well, all we can do is try and work harder. fingers crossed this gonna be an exciting season for me.

The husband already bought my first gun which I can use for hunting. I don't know if I have the guts to shoot a beautiful creature ( deer) God has made. I have a very soft heart.  Thinking about shooting them gets me teary eyed already. how much more in the real world? would I be able to do it? I'm not sure though.

We also set up our cameras and deer feeder on our hunting spot. And here are some of my favorite photos that we got.

This baby is so clever.

trying hard

Voila!
Beautiful. isn't it?

New domain+Alligator

Finally I am able to transfer my blog from blogspot to my own domain. I love working online. I so missed those days when I try to stay up all night to write on my blog. I am not good of a writer, but I tried the best of my knowledge to write a decent article when I have a task.

I wish to-do some paid blogging again. It sure will keep me occupied since I am a stay at home wife. I don't know how to drive just yet that is why it's hard for me to work outside. The only way of transportation here is just driving your own car. If only buses and trains are available I will definitely try my luck of finding jobs in the outside world. But nada.. it's just a dream anyway.

Oh yeah! before I forget I had a visitor yesterday. and Guess what? It's an alligator. My husband used to tease me before about alligators. That they just wander on his yard. I did not believe it, I thought It was just one of his jokes. But no! It's a FACT!!! I have seen it with my two wide eyes yesterday.

I was horrified and call him right away, not knowing he's just in the drive way.LOL!! but He was not able to see it. It was gone so fast and we find it nowhere no matter how we tried.  But I was able to capture a photo of it in my phone for the husband to see.

It was unbelievable. It makes me wonder. Am I in the zoo? booo.. ehhe!

alligator in our yard :D

Happy 1st year to me...

One year ago, I fly with the big bird to come here in the United States. Leaving my family and the life that I am used too is not quite easy. It takes a lot of courage to do it. I came here because of my dream, to marry the love of my life and to stay committed to the person that loves me beyond exception.

One year ago, I don't know what United States looks like. Yes! I saw it on TV, but never seen it with my own vision. I never know how it feels like to live or even to have a short vacation in this side of the world. Yes. one year ago United States is just a part of my dream.

And today marks that same day when I stepped my foot here in American soil. I know how it feels like to be here now obviously. Life where I'm at, is just like my life back home. Around here are simple people and I am loving it. Our place is so peaceful. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city life that I'm used too. I am closer to nature this time, and I'm enjoying every bits of it.

1.)I learned that Hey! is not a disrespectful word.
2.) Also calling your mom/dad in-law by their names are just normal (but still I can't do it!) I call them mom and daddy.
3.) huh? is a word to disrespect your elders.

Some culture here shocks me too, but I will never complain because we have some in the Philippines that will surely blow them away also. te. hee!

To sum it all, I feel so blessed to be in this side of the world. My family and friends here is an addition to the family I have in the Philippines. I will never forget where I came from, but I'm also loving my adopted home land.

One year ago I dream, and today I am living on that dream. I have so many first time, but will talk about it on my next post.

Florida Adventure Part1

I created this post 2 days ago but for some reason my computer freezes and every words I utter was being deleted. Of course I was pissed so I decided to log off and redo maybe later which is today. LOL!

Anyhow to make the story short. Me the husband his Daughter C and Grandson T hit the road last June 20 for our road trip to Disney, Universal Studio and the the beach (Destine).
It was one fun and memorable week for all of us. Disney world did not impress me very much thought. It's not like what you see in TV where all the Princesses and Mickey mouse just walk around and you can snap a photo with them. The fireworks and the show before the night ends is the one that is memorable.  Here's some of the photos I took during the trip

Side view of Cinderellas fancy castle.
Jurassic Park ride where my jaw drop coz I'm a Chicken.. LOl!

We stayed here for 4 nights&5days.
Tuff in front of the famous castle in Disney world
The best water ride ever @ Universal Studi

Memorial Day 2014

First I wanna Thank all the brave soldiers in this side of the world for allowing us to enjoy the freedom of today. If not with them life might be so hard still.

My first memorial day holiday experience is full of fun and adventure. Me and James along with our Friend Mags and her husband decided to go camping in a lake nearby. We stayed there for 4 Days and 3 nights.  It was my first camping experience and I had a blast.

We have daily routine. Every morning me and Mags will cook breakfast and after that James will drive the boat and all of us will go fishing. We will stay there until 2 p.m come home and rest a little. And before the darkness strikes our boys will grab logs and pieces of woods to make fire. Then they also cook dinner for us.

I would say it was one of the best experience I had in my life. I am so happy I married an adventurous, and understanding loving man.

This was taken on our 3rd Day. My color changed already for I stayed in the sun for almost all day everyday. If not fishing in the middle of the lake We also fish in the bunk. Also the flaws and all in the legs are mosquito bites. Kailangan tlaga mag explain?? hahah!

Next Month's Plan

My love for traveling for sure will never end now that I get married. Because first, my husband loves to see the world. Second we both enjoy even a single day trip to the park or anywhere our feet leads us.

And...Next month we plan of going to Orlando Florida to experience being a kid again. We will take his daughter and grandson with us so it's gonna be exciting. We also plan on staying in the beach for a couple of days and meet his brother and his family there. I'm so thrilled on this trip.

Of course! to start off, I should make myself fit to be able to enjoy the rides and the beach. As always, this bulging baby fats that I have in my belly looses my confidence in wearing two piece bikini. I hope I can trim it even a little, but if not it's OK. My husband still find me attractive anyway. :D

Texas Short Trip...

Last week me and James decided to hit the road for a short trip to Dallas. He's been working so hard last month because of the storm so I told him he needed some break. He ask for a 2 days off from work which is Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is a holiday anyway and Saturday Sunday is his regular day off, So we had a very long weekend. Yay! to me.

Our Itinerary starts in Dallas World Museum.

The museum is very neat. It feels like your in the the jungle that is located in the middle of the City. The first part of the museum is a miniature water falls where you can see different kinds of monkey, birds, peacock, lizard and many more animals.

After world museum we go straight ahead to Ripley s Believe it or Not and Wax Museum.

Selfie! Selfie! with my labs.

After Our Wax museum visit, we hit the road again this time just to see what the City of Dallas looks like. We traveled around for a couple of hours before we decided to go back home. It was really a short trip, but Indeed a wonderful one.

My husband is very consistent in making me happy and I love every minute spending time with the most amazing man in my life.

Daily Life...

Today is Sunday and it doesn't feel like it is. The husband has been working overtime because of the last storm. According to him, this is one of the busiest time of the year for them. And I missed him already. Every time he go out with the crews working I can't stop myself from being worried freak. I love him and all I can do is Pray for his and and everyone's safety.

Spending time alone is sometimes boring but I make sure to entertain myself too. Lately I see myself enjoying my baking skills. The husband love everything that I made for him. He is my avid fan. LOL!

As usual my doberman keeps me busy all the time. She's a mess so I make sure to clean everyday. I don't like our house to smell nasty.

Oh well. I have nothing to say so I better go back to being a couch potato again.

Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

Can't Sleep Post

My blog is not dead-alright! LOL!

Anyways I can't sleep and I don't know why. I keep turning and tossing around the bed and finally get tired of it so I got up. I have a hungry stomach right now but I don't want to eat anything. It's just too early for food. Time check 3:36 a.m

OK something new. The cold weather is finally almost come to an end and I am loving it. In the past 3 days we have a beautiful warm weather (Philippines like )...Hooray !. Me and the husband enjoyed working outside together. We clean the boat, that way we can go fishing next week.Woootttt!

We also have been visiting some local beautiful spots here. Well, for some folks that live here all their life it's just normal to them but not for me. I find the green surroundings beautiful. I love the fresh scent of nature. The quiet and serene view is always perfect for my soul. This is one of the reason why I never had a hard time adjusting the country side life style aside from the husband's sweet and loving treatment that I receive every passing day. I mean I live in the big City I know. But ever since when I learn t the Art of Traveling I always wanted to go to the Beach or Mountains. My heart never is in-love in the busy night life of the city. My friends used to call me grandma because every time they invite me to go out clubbing they always get NO as my answer. But eventually they're used to it. ehhehe.

Well, Anyhow I think I'll try to hit the sack again. I feel a little sleepy and I hope this time around I will be able to doze off before the husband alarm will ring.

Good mornyt pepol...XOXO

Daily Life.

Time and again I have been literally lazy updating my blog. The husband keeps my company and the our little Lilly keeps me busy. She's like a child to me. Every time I take a short nap, she lays her head in my chest. what a dog!

I would say in my five months here in Louisiana I am enjoying every single seconds of it. Yes! true enough that sometimes I get bored and I cried but I think that is normal as I am away from the folks I used to be with. it's just a .1 percent of my 100% rate of my life here. And 99.9% I am completely happy and satisfied.

The husband has been very supportive in my everyday endeavor. He takes me to beautiful places around here. We enjoy our  Saturday/Sunday date every week. ehhehe! I am also learning how to utilize our kitchen. I'm proud to say that He loves every dish that I prepared for our meals.

Well, the weather is driving me nuts though. I don't like cold and nasty weather. But then again I won't complain. I'm too blessed to complaint about little things in life.

Exercise!!!!

I get so motivated to work out today. I hope I will continue to-do it every day even for a good 30 minutes. I wanted to trim down the fats that have been in my belly for a few years now. Seriously, I feel huge and people in this side of the world say’s I am skinny. Are you kidding me? LOL!

This American Top model helps me to move my lazy beautiful booty. I wish I have a body like this models. (ambitious girl) If ever I will get that kind of body, I sure will wear 2 piece bikini every day!!! Ha. Ha.

Wish me Luck my labs.

Daily life. Yard Cleaning

Today’s weather is just so beautiful that I can’t resist working in our yard. There are a lot of things to do outside. The dead trees are scattered all over.

The babe has just been so busy and he doesn’t have any chance to work in our little place. So today I bring my lazy beautiful Booty (LOL!) outside. I clean out the yard by removing the dead trees. I rake a little to make it look nice and clean. At first I was hesitant in doing it. It’s just so creepy to work in the yard alone. At the back of my mind are those scary thought that I see in the movie. What if I see a snake crawling? OH! NOOOOO…. But I did not let my fear from stopping me to do my task.

After my little yard work I feel a lot better and so proud of myself. I have never been productive like this in the past ( I mean outside). I am thankful for my little company too, my dog. Without her, I might not brave myself to step in our yard soil. LOL! Seriously, call me weirdo but It’s true; I am scared to walk outside. Hehehhe.

Daily Life

I feel so disappointed about myself today, as I get so emotional easily. I cry for no reason at all. My heart seemed like it will explode if I will not shed my tears. Do I have some kind of a disorder? LOL!

I hope I will get over this feeling of being lonely in this side of the world. I don’t want the husband to think I am not happy with him. I am very much happy with my marriage and the last time I checked myself I am head over heels in love with my man. He is the best thing that ever happened to me.

The problem is in me I know! I need to change my being childish stubborn attitude now. I hope I can do it in a blink of an eye. I don’t want to hurt the babe by being immature. :(

Oh! Well, I hope this PMS will be gone anytime soon. I want to be back to my old happy self again. This being emotional is a crappy feeling that I dislike the most.

Oh sya! Emoterang froglette is now signing off  :)

Daily life

Today the temperature outside is below freezing all day. I don’t like taking Lilly to use the bathroom/our yard. LOL! It’s too cold for me, but I need too.

I’ve seen a lot of wild ducks in the lake. At first I thought it was an alligator that made the water move. The babe always tells me that there is no alligator when the weather is so cold, they only appear when the weather is warm. But sometimes I forget. Prolly because I am excited to see alligators in our back yard. Weird eh!

We also have so many birds today. And I see 2 dead birds in the yard. L . The babe said maybe they don’t survive the cold weather. Poor little birdy
My day is just easy, or maybe lazy. I accomplish nothing except doing the dishes. Ha. Ha. Nah! Babe said no worries. Spoiled huh?

oh sya. emote-rang  frog is now signing off.

Love Y'all
